USER GUIDE

MOVING YOUR ISLAND

The kitchen island arrives pre-assembled for your convenience. To make transportation easier, the drawers and barbeque will be installed once the island is placed in your desired location. If you need to move your kitchen island in the future, to make it easier, we recommend removing the drawers and barbeque before relocating then reinstalling them in the new spot.

While you may be tempted to carry your island by the porcelain, such as from under the drawers or the countertop, please avoid doing so to prevent damaging the porcelain. The structure’s weight is supported by the aluminum and stainless steel frame, so always lift the island from its base.

IMPORTANT USAGE GUIDELINES

  • Always store your propane cylinder upright and in the designated drawer to the right of your barbeque. The propane cylinder should not exceed 36 cm in height.
  • Each drawer can hold up to 20 kg. Please avoid exceeding this weight limit.
  • Islands ordered with a sink require professional installation.
  • We recommend consulting a licensed contractor to ensure proper setup and compliance with building codes.
  • For details on the Fulgor Milano barbeque, refer to the Fulgor Milano Usage and Maintenance guide found here.

Maintenance

KITCHEN ISLAND

  • Shield your kitchen island from the weather elements with a suitable fitted outdoor cover when not in use.
  • Cleaning your kitchen is important after each use. Clean your kitchen when it first appears dirty, rather than leaving it to worsen.
  • Use a soft cloth and a non-scratching, mild soap preferably mixed with warm water (do not use chlorine/bleach-containing chemicals or detergents).
  • Rinse with clean water.

BARBEQUE

  • Refer to the care and cleaning of the appliance section in the Fulgor Milano Usage and Maintenance guide found here.
  • Ensure all gas connections are secure and leak-free for safe and optimal operation.

PROTECTIVE COVER

  • Brush off dirt and debris before it becomes embedded in the fabric.
  • Address messes and clean spills soon after they occur. The quicker you clean spills, the easier they can be to remove.
  • Hand wash (do not dry clean): hose down or soak fabric in a solution of mild soap and lukewarm water (solution mix depends on the soap you are using).
  • Use a soft sponge to lightly agitate any stains. Then rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue and allow the fabric to air dry.
